Job summary

Park Nicollet Burnsville Primary Care is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the Frontline team. You will greet patients, collect co-pays, schedule follow-ups and referrals, and support clerical duties across departments while ensuring patient confidentiality.

In a fast-paced, friendly environment, you will handle phone inquiries, help with appointment scheduling, and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Regular weekday hours with occasional Saturdays may apply.

Qualifications

• 6 months related experience
• Accurate computer/keyboard skills required
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service
• Must be proficient in operation of telephone and headsets, PC, printer, fax machine

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with clerical duties at the front desk
• Answer and respond to incoming calls from patients and employer groups
• Collect co-pays, schedule follow-up appointments and referrals
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain patient confidentiality
