Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to own pricing analytics across the enterprise. This senior IC will lead competitive price intelligence, the recurring pricing analytics suite, and the analysis behind price architecture, promotions, and markdown decisions.

You will partner with Merchants, Merchandise Finance, and Marketing to defend price point recommendations, evaluate promotion effectiveness, and set analytical standards for pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 4-7 years of analytical experience in retail pricing, merchandising, planning, or finance
• Advanced Excel with scenario modeling and large data handling
• SQL proficiency to join and validate data across systems
• Strong command of retail margin mechanics and gross margin impact
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leadership
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and mentor others

Responsibilities

• Own competitive price intelligence and translate into actionable recommendations
• Lead price point analysis including elasticity, margin impact, and price gaps
• Evaluate promotional effectiveness and optimize promotions and markdowns
• Design and maintain pricing dashboards and ensure data integrity
• Govern price change execution and document governance across systems
