Job summary

Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Pricing Lead to own pricing strategy and commercial execution across the enterprise. You will guide price architecture, promotional strategy, and markdown governance, ensuring accurate activation across channels, systems, and customer touchpoints.

You will lead a team of analysts, partnering with Merchants, Merchandise Finance, Marketing, and E-Commerce to set the calendar, approve offers, and govern controls that keep pricing accurate in market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 6–9 years of pricing, merchandising, merchandise planning, or finance experience with direct ownership of pricing or promotional decisions.
• Experience leading people or analysts, formally or as a team lead.
• Demonstrated ownership of pricing or promotional execution in a multi-channel retail environment.
• Strong command of retail margin mechanics, promotional economics, and markdown strategy.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in SQL or comparable data tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own price architecture, with structure, laddering, and competitive gap targets.
• Lead the pricing calendar and sequencing of price actions against demand and inventory.
• Govern promotional strategy, including offer construct and event economics.
• Own markdown strategy and timing for aged or discontinued inventory.
• Direct competitive intelligence and translate it into actionable pricing decisions.
• Partner with Marketing and E-Commerce to ensure pricing reflects approved terms.
