Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York is seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing to lead pricing strategy and execution. You will partner with lawyers, business development, and finance teams to design, implement, and track client fee agreements, while directing a team that maintains pricing processes and databases.

You will influence senior partners with data-driven insights, manage matter budgets, and drive firm-wide best practices in pricing and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• 8–10 years in pricing/financial analysis within professional services; 3–5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proven ability to influence senior partners and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to develop fee proposals, budgets and AFAs.
• Provide sophisticated financial modeling to support negotiations and business development.
• Lead pricing data collection, reporting, and dashboards for leadership.
• Oversee matter budgets, track performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Manage and mentor pricing team, ensuring scalable workflows and high-quality support.
• Engage in client engagement support, RFPs and value-driven proposals.
