Job summary

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw firm in New York, seeks a Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst to join its pricing and revenue strategy team. This role collaborates with firm partners and practice leaders to shape pricing strategy, structure AFAs, and deliver data-driven insights that influence firmwide decisions.

You will develop financial models, prepare pricing responses for RFPs, and lead AI-driven process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
Significant experience in legal pricing and financial analysis.
Strong financial modeling skills; RFP experience preferred.
Experience leading process improvement initiatives and using AI to automate tasks preferred.
Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Power BI and Aderant or Elite (3E) preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with attorneys to understand pricing for legal work and provide strategic guidance.
Develop and deploy financial models evaluating pricing scenarios and advise on fee structures for profitability.
Draft fee proposals and present strategies to partners and clients.
Prepare cost estimates for prospective and existing matters across practice areas.
Coordinate with departments to gather data for RFP responses and pricing.
