Kin Insurance seeks a Pricing & Risk Analyst to help identify profitable growth opportunities state by state and segment by segment. You will turn policy, quote, and claims data into actionable recommendations, collaborating with state managers and business partners.

This entry-level role focuses on learning analytics, pricing, segmentation, and state performance, using Databricks Genie, Claude Code, and approved MCP connections to automate recurring work and deliver clear insights for pricing

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, finance, business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational SQL skills and proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Experience analyzing data to identify patterns, investigate questions, and explain findings.
• Hands-on experience using AI for analytical or coding tasks, and willingness to use Claude Code, Databricks Genie, MCP-enabled workflows.
• Ability to explain findings in plain language, stay curious, and manage assignments with guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Own recurring state performance reporting on quote volume, quote-to-bind conversion, new business, premium, retention, and loss experience.
• Analyze performance across geography, risk characteristics, coverage, and distribution channels to surface growth opportunities.
• Evaluate how proposed rate changes, underwriting rules, and shifts in business mix could affect growth and profitability.
• Use Databricks Genie to explore data, and Claude Code to write SQL queries, build analytical scripts, and automate reports.
• Deliver clear charts and concise summaries for Pricing and Risk and partner teams.
