Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, finance, business, CS, or related field.
• Foundational SQL skills and proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Experience analyzing data to identify patterns, investigate questions, and explain findings.
• Hands‑on experience using AI for analytics or coding tasks, and willingness to use Claude Code, Databricks Genie, and MCP-enabled workflows.
• Ability to explain findings clearly, stay curious, and manage assignments with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring state performance reporting on quotes, conversions, new business, premium, retention, and loss experience.
• Analyze performance across geography, risk characteristics, coverage, and distribution channels to surface growth opportunities.
• Evaluate how proposed rate changes and underwriting rules could affect growth and profitability.
• Use Databricks Genie to explore data and Claude Code to write SQL queries and automate recurring reports.
