Job summary

Carlile Transportation in Tacoma, WA is seeking a sales-focused professional to sell our services and apply pricing knowledge to satisfy inbound pricing requests. You will establish quotes for LTL, TL, and logistics, handle inbound calls, and meet quotas while supporting cross-functional teams.

You will input call activity in CRM, prepare presentations, and troubleshoot customer issues. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for a business degree and 2–3 years in sales or pricing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Undergraduate degree in business administration or related discipline preferred.
• Two to three years of customer service, sales, and/or pricing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sell Carlile’s services and understand pricing structure.
• Establish rates and price quotes for LTL, TL, logistics and other services.
• Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls to convert into sales.
• Refer leads to outside sales Account Representatives when needed and provide support.
• Meet sales and conversion quotas for the commercial sales team.
• Make outbound calls and emails to qualify new leads in a targeted market.
• Stay updated on service offerings and input sales activity into CRM.
• Prepare professional customer presentations as required.
• Investigate and troubleshoot customer service and operational issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
