Job summary

Crux AI in Palo Alto seeks an experienced pricing strategist to own unit economics, margin analysis, and market pricing. You will shape long-term price architecture, read competitive markets, and drive profitability with cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Finance, and Operations.

The role focuses on forward-looking pricing for multi-year contracts, developing TCO narratives, and building AI-enabled pricing tools that scale with the business.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or infrastructure economics.
• Experience building unit-economics or deal profitability models.
• Hands-on, builder mindset with close collaboration with finance, sales, and engineering.
• Ability to argue margins with CFO and cost stacks with engineers.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled pricing, automation, and scenario modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build fully loaded cost and margin models per TPU-hour and per MW for multi-year horizons.
• Deliver pricing architecture and TCO analysis grounded in price/performance benchmarks.
• Lead deal economics with CRO and CFO and assess customer segments and workloads.
• Develop AI-enabled tools for pricing analytics and competitive intelligence used daily by the team.
• Create a repeatable pricing function with automated deal pricing tools and governance.
