Job summary

OEC Group is seeking a Pricing Coordinator in Santa Ana, CA to negotiate rates with carriers, update internal rate tables, and support sales by pricing and drafting contracts. The role requires coordination with global partners and strict attention to data integrity.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a fast-paced office environment; pricing/quoting experience preferred.
• Experience in Logistics/Transportation, freight forwarding preferred.
• Experience with CargoWise One ERP system preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; willingness to learn advanced functions.
• Proficiency with Outlook/Teams/Word/PowerPoint.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Professional email and phone etiquette.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily carrier communications on rate terms, contract terms, and space protection.
• Coordinate with origin offices internationally for market rates and space availability.
• Update NSA and VIP account rates to secure bookings.
• Assist in resolving billing invoice disputes.
• Analyze shipment history to generate reports for contract negotiations.
• Participate in weekly/biweekly meetings with partners; some hours outside normal schedule.
• Assist outside sales with pricing and contract drafting, possibly on-site.

As a Pricing Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with carriers to negotiate and set new rates, update internal rate tables, collaborate with our outside sales representatives, and maintain and expand client relations. This position will communicate with local, regional, and international partners to complete key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years' experience in a fast-paced office environment; previous pricing/quoting experience preferred.
• Previous work experience in the Logistics and Transportation industry, notably in freight forwarding, is highly preferred.
• Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn advanced functions.
• Proficiency withMicrosoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to display discretion with confidential information.
• Professional email and phone etiquette.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.

• Participate in weekly and biweekly meetings with local, regional, and international partners, occasionally outside of regular business hours.
• Assist outside sales representatives with customer pricing and contract drafting, possibly on-site.

Salary

• $22-$30/hour dependent on transferable experienceand education level.
