Job summary

CAN Community Health, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Prevention to lead its Education & Prevention Team in delivering HIV prevention and care programs. The role emphasises grant administration, community outreach, data reporting, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring program management experience, at least a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and a strong commitment to serving populations affected by infectious diseases. Flexible/variable hours may apply in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field.
• Experience with development and implementation of HIV Prevention procedures.
• Personnel and program management experience.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement grants and CAN initiatives.
• Submits reports to state and local funding sources; ensures data accuracy.
• Monitors program progress monthly and aligns team operations.
• Resolves problems and ensures compliance with regulations and standards.
• Ensures quality management of all prevention programs; participate in QA/QI efforts.
• Assists in grant writing and/or grant summary reporting; supports audits.
• Analyzes epidemiological data to guide outreach programs and day-to-day operations.
• Accurately documents records related to prevention data collection; maintains confidentiality.
