Job summary

CAN Community Health Inc. is seeking a Manager, Prevention to lead HIV prevention and care programs. The role involves extensive grant development, reporting, and data-informed operations across office and mobile units. It requires strong leadership and program management within a community health setting.

The candidate will manage grants, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to QA/QI efforts, with a focus on frontline prevention and data-driven strategy implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in related field; college coursework may substitute for experience.
• Personnel and program management experience.
• Experience with development and implementation of HIV prevention procedures.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of grants and new CAN initiatives.
• Completes and submits required reports; ensures data collection and reporting per grant obligations.
• Monitors monthly program and grant progress and aligns team operations to meet deliverables.
• Resolves problems and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Participates in QA/QI efforts to ensure program quality.
• Assists in grant writing and grant summary reporting as needed.
• Assists in internal and external program audits.
• Analyzes epidemiological data to inform outreach and day-to-day operations.
• Accurately documents prevention data collection efforts.
• Ensures client confidentiality 100% of the time per HIPAA and CAN policies.
