Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks an experienced Prevailing Wage & Labor Compliance Administrator to oversee wage compliance on multiple projects in Detroit. The role focuses on wage determinations, certified payroll, and audits, interfacing with contractors, government agencies, and internal teams.

Hybrid schedule with onsite Tuesday–Thursday and two remote days; travel may be required. Requires knowledge of prevailing wage rules, union agreements, fringe benefits, and the ability to guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in labor compliance, payroll administration, or contract management.
• In-depth knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and labor compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor prevailing wage compliance for projects subject to applicable wage requirements and the Davis-Bacon Act.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local wage requirements, including the Davis-Bacon Act and SCA.
• Review certified payroll reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit payroll records and labor classifications to identify discrepancies and corrections.
• Provide training and guidance to contractors, subcontractors, and internal staff.
• Maintain organized compliance records for audits and reporting.
• Coordinate with legal counsel and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Prepare and submit reports to funding agencies and oversight bodies.
