Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a Prevailing Wage Program Administrator to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws. You will manage wage determinations, review certified payrolls, conduct audits, and liaise with contractors and government agencies.

The role requires strong labor compliance knowledge, analytical abilities, and effective communication. It involves office-based work with occasional travel to project sites and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, HR, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years in labor compliance, payroll, or contract management.
• Public works or government contracting experience preferred.
• Experience with Organized Labor Agreements, union labor, and fringe benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prevailing wage compliance for projects under PWA and Davis-Bacon.
• Apply Davis-Bacon Act, Service Contract Act, and state/local wage laws.
• Review certified payroll reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit payroll records and labor classifications.
• Provide training to contractors, subcontractors, and staff on wage rules.
• Maintain records for audits and reporting.
• Investigate wage complaints or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with legal counsel and regulatory agencies as needed.
• Prepare reports to funding agencies and oversight bodies.
• Stay current on wage determinations and labor law changes.
