Job summary

El Paso County in Colorado Springs seeks a Pretrial Services Supervisor to lead a dedicated team and shape the future of Pretrial Services. The role involves coaching staff, guiding daily operations, and coordinating across pretrial supervision and assessment functions, with an emphasis on practice consistency and staff feedback-driven improvements.

This in-person position supports two shifts across six days weekly, with Spanish-speaking ability preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of related experience in the criminal justice field.
• One year of experience in the Pretrial Services field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the assigned unit within the Pretrial Services Program, including daily operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Oversees scheduling, training, and performance evaluations; participates in hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Collaborates with Program Manager and staff to achieve program goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Develops unit guidelines and procedures for leadership approval and ensures policy compliance.
• Coordinates assessment for PR Bond or sobriety monitoring programs and liaises with court and agencies.
• Maintains accurate documentation and data entry; presents program updates to stakeholders.
