Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Pretrial Services Office operations and policies.
• Prior pretrial services experience highly preferred.
• Ability to exercise mature judgment.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Proven ability to provide leadership and mentor staff; promote positive morale.
• Availability for overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise officers and support staff across Midland/Odessa, Pecos, and Alpine offices; set standards and evaluate performance.
• Review and edit case plans, reports, and court submissions to meet policy guidelines; ensure office coverage and deadlines.
• Assist management in developing policies; participate in supervisory meetings.
• Communicate with judges, staff, and the public; resolve issues while maintaining confidentiality and ethics.
