Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) to maximize sales in the prestige category, including color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance. You will engage guests to determine needs and guide selections while upholding store standards and policies.

Responsibilities include guest service, makeup applications, event support, and collaboration with the Sales Manager to drive performance, people, and process. A passion for beauty and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Experience in prestige cosmetics or beauty retail is a plus.
• Strong guest service and selling abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and omni-channel sales.
• Greet guests and personalize service, recommending complementary products and informing about promotions and services.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends and ingredients to better assist guests.
• Maintain store operations, cleanliness, and hygiene standards, including test area replenishment and inventory procedures.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy and efficiency.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, and displays, using Ulta Beauty technology and best practices.
