Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in the prestige category (color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance) by guiding guests to select and purchase prestige merchandise while upholding all company policies and standards. This role supports the Sales Manager through a focus on service, events, and guest experience, with a passion for beauty knowledge.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma preferred
• Cosmetology/esthetics license where required by state law
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred
• Demonstrates passion for prestige product, guest service, and selling
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals in prestige category and brands
• Provide exceptional guest service and engage guests to personalize service
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
• Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver guest experience
• Stay informed on industry trends and product knowledge
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business
• Participate in ongoing training and product education
