Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance by guiding guests to the right prestige products and providing expert knowledge. This role supports the Sales Manager through service, events, and guest experience while upholding store standards.

The PBA builds lasting guest relationships, performs makeup applications and demonstrations, and stays current on trends and promotions to drive prestige sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology or esthetician license where required by state law.
• 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates passion and competence for prestige products, guest service, and selling.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales in the prestige category.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, and inform about promotions and events.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
