Job summary

American Plastics is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will participate in production, inspection and packaging of our products in a safe, clean environment that rewards reliability and teamwork.

Shifts include days 7am-7pm and nights 7pm-7am, with opportunities for day-shift transfers. Earn up to $21–$22 per hour plus benefits and a 401(k) plan as you help us deliver quality items.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs and up to 80 lbs with team lift.
• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation with zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specs and packing per customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply lines and packing areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

About the Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts

• Days: 7am - 7am
• Nights: 7pm – 7am
• Future opportunities for day shift - shift transfers available

Duties & Expectations On The Job

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Compensation

What you will enjoy:

Earn Up To $21.00 per hour for day shift, and $22.00 per hour for night shift with perfect attendance
