Job summary

American Plastics is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Findlay, Ohio. You will participate in production, inspection and packaging of everyday retail storage and janitorial items, ensuring quality and safety on the line.

You will work 7am–7pm days or 7pm–7am nights on a fixed 2/2/3 schedule, with shift differential and the potential for vacation and benefits. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs, with team lifts up to 80 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation promoting zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing per customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply lines and packing areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2–3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

About the Position:

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts

• Days: 7am – 7pm
• Nights: 7pm – 7am

Duties & Expectations On The Job

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Compensation

Earn up to $21.00 per hour with perfect attendance.

• Additional: $1.00 shift differential for night shift: 7pm to 7am
