Job summary

American Plastics, LLC, a leading provider of injection molded products, is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in Ohio. You will participate in production, inspection and packaging of everyday retail storage and janitorial items, contributing to quality and efficiency.

We offer a fixed 2/2/3 schedule with 3-day weekends every other week, competitive hourly pay up to $21 with a $1 night differential, paid vacation, holidays, and benefits, plus 401K matching.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs individually and up to 80 lbs with a team.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Inspect, assemble and pack parts according to specifications.
• Supply the lines and packing areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.

About the Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts:

• Days: 5am – 5pm
• Nights: 5pm – 5am

What you will enjoy:

Compensation:

Earn up to $21.00 per hour with perfect attendance.

Additional: $1.00 shift differential for night shift: 7pm to 7am

$500 referral bonus, so bring your friends along.

Requirements

Duties & Expectations on the Job:

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

• Who you are:
• At least 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. team lift.
