Job summary

American Plastics in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will participate in the production, inspection and packaging of our storage and janitorial products, ensuring quality and efficiency on each line.

We offer a fixed 2/2/3 shift schedule with alternating days and nights, generous benefits including 60 hours of paid vacation, holidays, health coverage and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time, lifting up to 40 lbs. and up to 80 lbs. with a team.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN & AUTHORIZE BACKGROUND CHECK

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Work all scheduled shifts.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

About the Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts

• Days: 7am - 7pm
• Nights: 7pm - 7am

Duties & Expectations On The Job

Compensation

Earn up to $22.25 per hour with perfect attendance.
