Job summary

American Plastics, LLC is seeking a Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will participate in production, inspection and packing of products used in retail storage and janitorial goods. Various shift options provide flexibility while focusing on safety and quality.

The role emphasizes safe operations, meeting customer specifications, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
• Able to stand for extended periods, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 40 lbs and up to 80 lbs team lift.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen & authorize a background check.

Responsibilities

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.
• Trim, assemble and pack parts.
• Supply the lines and packing/stage areas with required materials.
• Rotate presses every 2 to 3 hours.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

About the Position: As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production, inspection and packaging of every great product that leaves our facility. You will make retail storage and janitorial products that you and your neighbors rely on every day.

Available Shifts:

• Days: 7am - 7am
• Nights: 7pm – 7am
• Future opportunities for day shift - shift transfers available

Duties & Expectations on the Job:

• Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents.
• Lift and remove parts from conveyor line.
• Maintain product specifications and packing according to customer requests.

Earn Up To $21.00 per hour for day shift, and $22.00 per hour for night shift with perfect attendance

Fixed Schedule:

This schedule gives you a 3-day weekend every other week!
