Job summary

Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Head Start Preschool Floating Center Aide to support classrooms across Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Blackfoot. You will assist the lead teacher with age-appropriate activities for children birth to five and help create enriching learning environments.

This role emphasizes safety, nutrition awareness, and flexibility as you move between locations. CDA credential support and background checks are provided, with opportunities for growth in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Equivalency Degree (GED)
• Ability to obtain CDA Credential within 12 months with our guidance and cost coverage
• Experience with children birth to 5 preferred, but passion is welcome
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance
• Complete physical exam
• CPR and First Aid certification through our training program

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with lead teacher to design age-appropriate curricula
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment focused on child well-being
• Prepare learning materials and set up interactive centers
• Engage children in educational play and activities
• Promote healthy eating by assisting with mealtimes
• Maintain an organized and inviting classroom
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development
• Work across Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Blackfoot with different classrooms
• Support multiple classrooms as a Floating Center Aide
