Job summary

Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership seeks a Head Start Preschool Center Aide for its Head East location in Idaho Falls. You will work with lead teachers to deliver an engaging, age-appropriate program for children aged three to five.

The role emphasizes safety, exploration, and holistic development in a nurturing daycare-like setting. In addition to hands-on learning support, you’ll help with materials, center setup, and collaborative planning through staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA credential obtainable within 12 months with employer support.
• Experience with children aged 3–5 is valued.
• Completion of a physical exam and background checks may be required.

• Bring your organizational skills to the table, maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing classroom environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or Equivalency Degree (GED) to kickstart your journey.
• The ability to obtain the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with our guidance within 12 months of joining (don't worry, we've got your back and cover all costs!)
• Experience working with children aged 3 to 5 is highly valued, but if you're bursting with passion and motivation, we'd love to hear from you regardless.
