Job summary

Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Center Aide for our Blackfoot Early Head Start and Head Start Center.

You will support classrooms serving children from birth to age five and help create developmentally appropriate learning experiences. We offer a starting wage of $15.28/hour DOE, employer-paid health insurance, retirement plan with employer match, life insurance, EAP, FSA/Dependent Care options, and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CDA Credential within 12 months of hire, with training and costs fully covered by us.
• Experience working with children ages birth to five is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle liability insurance.
• Ability to complete a physical examination upon hire.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification through employer-provided training.

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms serving children birth through age five.
• Partner with Lead Teacher to create engaging learning experiences.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment.
• Prepare hands-on learning materials and interactive centers.
• Encourage learning through play, storytelling, art, and movement.
• Support healthy habits by assisting with meals and nutrition.

Education
