Job summary

North Idaho College Head Start in Post Falls seeks an Assistant Teacher to support a caring classroom environment and help plan developmentally appropriate activities. You will supervise children, assist with feeding and toileting, and help with screenings and assessments alongside the Classroom Teacher.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CDA credential or state-awarded equivalent.
• Level II requires an Associate in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a related field with a focus on ECE.
• Experience as staff or volunteer in a preschool is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Supervise children and support individual needs including feeding and toileting.
• Assist with screenings, assessments, and documentation to guide goals.
