Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership, Inc. in Idaho Falls seeks a Head Start Preschool Center Aide to assist the lead teacher in creating a warm, engaging classroom for children aged three to five.

You'll help design age-appropriate activities, maintain a safe, organized space, and participate in trainings. The position offers competitive benefits and a starting wage of $15.28 per hour, DOE, with opportunities to pursue the CDA credential within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDA Credential requires completion within 12 months with employer support.
• Experience with children ages 3–5 preferred.
• Complete physical examination required.
• CPR and First Aid certification offered through training.

• Channel your creativity by preparing captivating learning materials and setting up interactive learning centers that ignite curiosity and exploration.
• Engage children in exciting educational play and other stimulating activities that make learning an adventure.
• Promote healthy eating habits by assisting with mealtimes and creating an atmosphere of wellness and balanced nutrition.
• Bring your organizational skills to the table, maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing classroom environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or Equivalency Degree (GED) to kickstart your journey.
• The ability to obtain the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with our guidance within 12 months of joining (don't worry, we've got your back and cover all costs!)
• Experience working with children aged 3 to 5 is highly valued, but if you're bursting with passion and motivation, we'd love to hear from you regardless.
