Job summary

Child-Parent Centers, Inc. (CPC) seeks an entry-level Co-Teacher to join our in-person preschool team.

You will co-teach 17–20 preschoolers, implement the Languages of Learning curriculum, and collaborate with the Lead Teacher and Education Specialist to provide high-quality early education in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include planning lessons, documenting child progress, engaging families, and supporting a safe classroom.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma OR GED.
• Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Submit AZ DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to start date.
• Able to pass a company-paid physical exam prior to starting work.
• Able to pass a DES Centralized Background Check prior to starting work.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid/CPR (Infants and Children) certification.
• Must obtain AZ Food Safety Manager Certification and Food Handlers Class within one month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Implement Languages of Learning curriculum for 3.75–8 hours per day, four to five days per week.
• Set learning goals and plan experiences, collaborating with families and specialists.
• Promote active exploration, creativity, and development in all domains.
• Build pride in children’s cultures and families by reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain health and safety procedures and supervise children at all times.
• Monitor and document child observations and progress in data systems.
