Job summary

Child-Parent Centers is seeking experienced early childhood professionals to lead classrooms, partner with families, and ensure high-quality education for enrolled children. The lead teacher works closely with the site supervisor and education coach to implement the Languages of Learning curriculum and maintain a safe, enriching environment.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, documenting student progress, coordinating with families, and supporting professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 18 credits in ECE/child development coursework.
• One year of classroom-based preschool experience.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Arizona driver’s license with excellent driving record.
• Proficient with Office 365 (Outlook/Teams/OneDrive/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Finger-Print Clearance Card required before start date.
• Able to pass required physical and DES background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the classroom team with high-quality early education services for enrolled children and families.
• Plan and document lessons, analyze child and family data, set goals, and attend professional development.
• Guide curriculum implementation and strengthen family partnerships and participation.
• Oversee planning, documentation, and data entry for child progress and program outcomes.
• Ensure safe, healthy learning environments and strong health and safety practices.
