Job summary

CPCD is hiring an Infant Toddler Teacher Assistant to support teachers in planning and implementing safe, healthy, high-quality learning experiences for infants and toddlers. You will help promote school readiness in partnership with families and follow Head Start standards and CPCD policies.

The role begins Oct 5th and offers a pathway from entry-level pay to higher scales as credentials and education advance, with benefits including paid time off, holidays, health coverage, and tuition

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• CDA credential or Level II required or must be obtained within two years of hire.
• Must obtain First Aid, CPR, and medication administration certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in planning and implementing learning experiences.
• Support development of school readiness skills per CPCD plan.
• Maintain safe, healthy learning environments and partner with families.
