Job summary

Child-Parent Centers (CPC) in Duncan, AZ is seeking passionate early childhood professionals for a co-teacher role in a full-day preschool setting. You will work with 17-20 preschoolers, implementing the Languages of Learning curriculum and collaborating with families to promote growth across cognitive, social, health, and emotional domains.

This position emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to high-quality education, with professional development support including CDA credentialing

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Submit AZ DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card before start date.
• Able to pass company-paid physical exam before starting.
• Able to pass DES Centralized Background Check before starting.
• Must prove right to work in the USA (I-9).
• Must obtain CDA credential within two years of hire.
• Ability to obtain State of Arizona Food Safety Manager Certification and Food Handlers Class within one month.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Languages of Learning curriculum for daily classroom activities.
• Plan lessons and document children’s progress and outcomes.
• Develop goals and learning experiences considering each child’s needs and family context.
• Engage families through communication and partnerships respecting cultures and languages.
• Maintain health and safety standards and supervise children at all times.
• Support English language learning and reading activities.
• Coordinate with Lead Teacher, Education Specialist, and other staff for coaching and development.
