CPCD is seeking a Part Time Preschool Teacher Assistant in Colorado Springs to support the classroom and partner with families. The role involves assisting the teacher in planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for preschool children.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a CDA or Level II credential (PDIS) and certification in First Aid/CPR within 90 days. Lifting up to 40 pounds and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDA credential or Early Childhood Professional Credential Level II (PDIS) required; must obtain within two years.
• Must obtain First Aid, CPR, and medication administration certification within 90 days.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have reliable transportation.
• Pre-employment health checks and background clearances are required.

Responsibilities

• Support school readiness skills through a balance of group and individual activities.
