Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking an Inside Presales, Systems Engineer to support Networking Account Managers and customers. This onsite role will design, position, and validate HPE Networking solutions across campus, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and security domains, while driving technical wins in a high-velocity sales environment.

You will conduct discovery sessions, perform assessments, and develop end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or customer‑facing technical role
• Strong foundation in campus, wireless, routing, WAN
• Consultative approach to solving customer challenges
• Lead discovery conversations uncovering technical requirements and priorities
• Translate complex technical concepts into business value
• Hands-on solution design and architecture mapping to customer environments
• Collaborate across teams to deliver well‑rounded solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop account strategy with account managers
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover drivers and modernization goals
• Conduct technical assessments to evaluate environments and gaps
• Design end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across domains
• Recommend solutions aligned to business outcomes and modernization
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and virtual engagements
• Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, BOMs, and docs
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and specialists
• Maintain expertise in HPE Networking portfolios
• Stay current on industry trends and AI-driven networking
