Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects for public safety and enterprise customers. You will work with the Sales Team to define scope, deliver end-to-end solutions, and ensure high-quality technical outcomes.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years in sales, sales engineering, or public safety, or 8+ years of related experience, with strong communication and RF/IP networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions across public safety, utility, transportation, and enterprise customers.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and product availability.
• Collaborate with operations and internal/external developers to meet delivery deadlines.
