Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Prepared Foods Team Member to assist with scheduling, supervise Team Members, and maintain engaging displays. You will train staff, ensure proper stock rotation, and support department opening/closing procedures to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Works with Prepared Foods Trainer to train Team Members to build a high-performance team.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using learning checklists and training materials.
• Keeps all cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to established procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters positive environment of teamwork, respect, and morale.
• Manages customer flows and directs Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.
