Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Bound Brook, NJ seeks a Prepared Foods Team Leader to assist in scheduling and supervising Team Members and to maintain compelling displays of prepared foods, coffee, and juice. You will support the Team Leader to ensure smooth daily operation and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include training staff, opening and closing the department, keeping cases stocked and rotated, and upholding health, safety, and SOP standards while fostering a positive team

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members.
• Trains Team Members with checklists and training materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Opens and closes department per procedures.
• Ensures breaks are given and team communicates concerns to leadership.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters positive teamwork, morale, and customer satisfaction.
• Directs Team Members to meet customer needs and inquiries.
• Mentors and counsels Team Members to maintain high performance.
• Provides thorough performance evaluations.
• Communicates company vision and goals.
