Job summary

Sifted in Redwood City is adding a PT Prep Cook/Server to support multiple stations across breakfast concepts in a dynamic kitchen environment. The role requires 1-2 years of related cooking experience, comfort with guests, and the ability to adapt to daily station needs under the guidance of the Lead Host or Lead Line Cook.

The position is hybrid, with shifts Monday to Friday, offering benefits including health insurance, a 401(k), PTO, and free lunch.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relative experience in full service, moderate to high volume restaurant, club or catering establishment.
• Comfortable in the kitchen and engaging with guests daily.

Responsibilities

• Work on one or multiple stations daily, following directions from Lead Host or Lead Line Cook for that station.
• Ensure labeling and organization of pans and delis, and discard out-of-date product from storage areas.
• Assist with daily deep-clean items and comply with sanitary regulations and safety standards.
• Assist Executive Chef with production discussions, packout and clean-up.
• Lead by example in safety and sanitation standards set by the Health Department.
