Job summary

Sifted is hiring a Prep Cook in South San Francisco to support busy client sites and on-site kitchen operations. You will heat up the kitchen, follow prep lists, and prepare ingredients for meals served to startups.

Qualifications

• Must hold a ServSafe Food Handler card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
• Following daily prep lists.
• Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking ingredients to be used in the cooking process.
• Maintaining clear communication with the executive chef and city manager at all times.
• Keeping station and work areas clean at all times.
• Taking ownership of whatever task is at hand.
