Sifted is hiring a Line Cook in our Redwood City kitchen who is eager to learn and grow with us. We provide daily lunch for startups and a dynamic work environment in a busy kitchen.

You will work closely with an executive chef, handle meat and vegetable prep, and support catering events. The role requires a ServSafe certification and comfort with Google apps, with a starting pay of $27/hour and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must maintain ServSafe Food Handler certification.
• Experience in line cook or prep/dishwasher roles.
• Experience with catering and event service.
• Comfort with Google apps and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning and preparing meats and vegetables.
• Stewarding and expediting product out of the door.
• Maintain clear communication with the executive chef and city manager.
• Keep station and work areas clean at all times.
• Take ownership of tasks.
