Sifted is seeking an enthusiastic Prep Cook to support daily lunch service for leading startups. The role lives in a fast-paced kitchen where you will set up, prep, and plate under the guidance of the executive chef and city manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen roles such as prep or dishwashing.
• Familiar with catering and event servicing.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Working knowledge of diverse cooking methods and equipment.
• Understanding health and safety regulations for food service.
• Basic math and recording skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and sanitize workstations.
• Follow daily prep lists and measure ingredients.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking and maintain clean stations.
• Maintain communication with the executive chef and city manager.
• Receive shipments, sign paperwork, and verify items.
• Label deliveries and organize storage areas.
• Dishwasher support as needed.
