Daily Provisions in Boston is seeking a Prep Cook to join our all-day neighborhood cafe team. You will prepare, cook, and portion dishes, maintain station cleanliness, and follow Daily Provisions’ high standards of execution.

The role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen. Minimum 1+ year Line Cook experience, ability to stand for long periods, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a Line Cook position in a similar environment.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Prepare, cook, and portion food to standard specifications.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and station readiness.
• Follow recipes and processing sheets to ensure timely completion.
• Store mise en place with proper labeling and dating.
• Keep knives and tools sharp and station clean.
• Assist with team needs including catering or call-outs.
