Daily Provisions, a Back Bay cafe, is hiring a Prep Cook. You will help with all aspects of kitchen operations, from preparation to plating, while maintaining high standards and efficiency. The role focuses on teamwork, technique, and delivering house-made dishes with attention to every detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a Line Cook position in a similar environment.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of kitchen operations including preparation, cooking and portioning.
• Maintain and use kitchen equipment (fryers, blenders, processors, mixers, rotisserie).
• Prep duties prepared, seasoned and cooked to standards on schedule.
• Follow recipes and standard techniques and build sheets for dishes.
• Properly label and date all mise en place and store products.
• Keep knives and tools sharp and maintain a clean station and health standards.
• Assist with deep cleaning and support team during peak times or catering.
