Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Prep Cook to join our team at the Red Circle Inn. You will prepare items using standardized recipes, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

The role supports a fast-paced dining environment with irregular hours, including late nights and weekends. Eligibility requires U.S. work authorization and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have ServSafe Certification or be willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Previous experience in a non-fast food restaurant and/or culinary school training.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Be able to keep up with a fast paced environment.
• Position may require irregular hours including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to perform with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time according to posted schedule in specified uniform.
• Prepare all food items according to recipes using correct handling procedures.
• Maintain proper par levels of production according to prep sheets.
• Review recipe modifications with Executive Chef and ensure quality.
• Test food temperatures and taste to ensure ServSafe compliance.
• Stock workstation and manage ingredients, labeling and storage.
• Know the menu ingredients and how to assemble each dish to order.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation at shift end.
