Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Prep Cook for the Red Circle Inn in Wisconsin. You will prepare items from standardized recipes, follow food safety guidelines, and work in a fast-paced environment to deliver quality dishes.

Responsibilities include timely food prep, accurate measurement, station organization, and adherence to ServSafe procedures. You will rotate stations, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a non-fast food restaurant or training in a culinary school.
• Must have ServSafe Certification or be willing to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
• Basic arithmetic skills are required (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Able to keep up with a fast paced environment.
• Position may require late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to perform with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to recipes using correct handling procedures.
• Maintain proper production par levels and organize workstation.
• Taste test and verify temperatures following Serv Safe guidelines.
• Stock and organize station for each shift and ensure readiness for meal periods.
• Know ingredients and how to build each dish to order from the menu.
• Date, rotate, and store perishables properly; label containers.
• Keep workspace clean and sanitary after each shift; cooperate with team.
