THE ONE GROUP is seeking a Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. You will prep ingredients, organize supplies, and ensure recipes are followed with impeccable food safety standards to support service.

Formación

• Experience in prep, kitchen assistant, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knife skills and basic culinary techniques.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and portion ingredients, proteins, sauces, and garnishes according to recipes and specifications
• Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and herbs
• Assist with butchering meat, filleting fish, and handling proteins as needed
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of all food products to prevent waste
• Ensure the prep station is fully stocked, clean, and always organized
• Work closely with chefs and line cooks to ensure smooth kitchen flow
• Follow recipe guidelines and portion controls to maintain consistency and quality
• Assist in the daily mise en place, ensuring all necessary prep is completed before service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, following health department regulations
• Execute tasks assigned by Chefs and Kitchen Leadership with professionalism and enthusiasm
