The One Group is hiring a Prep Cook in Miami to join a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will execute high-quality dishes from your station with precision and consistency, reading tickets accurately and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

You will follow recipes, assist with daily prep, stock ingredients, and collaborate with BOH/FOH teams to ensure on-time service while upholding food safety standards. This role requires energy, reliability, and a passion for culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong culinary techniques and food safety knowledge.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all dishes from the assigned station with precision and efficiency.
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards to maintain consistency.
• Read and process food tickets accurately to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times.
• Execute all menu items with proper technique, timing, and attention to detail.
• Assist with daily prep tasks, ingredient stocking, and kitchen setup.
• Ensure storage and production areas are organized and maintained.
• Work with BOH and FOH teams to ensure seamless service.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements and maintain a safe kitchen environment.
• Assist chefs with tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm.
