Job summary

Flanigan's Enterprises is seeking a Prep Cook to organize prep for service and keep the kitchen running smoothly. You’ll participate in from-scratch prep, plating, and station setup to ensure a well‑oiled operation.

You will follow safety policies, prepare items per recipe manual, rotate stock to par levels, and assist with dishwashing and closing duties. Flexible shifts include nights and weekends, with benefits listed in the ad.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the full shift.
• Must read and understand English language at work.
• Ability to read recipes and food labels and POS tickets.
• Good communication of ticket times and food flow to guests.
• Capable of safely operating kitchen equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and sanitation policies and training.
• Prepares menu items per Flanigan's recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Rotates and stocks products to par level to avoid disruption.
• Completes prep work and sets up kitchen stations as needed.
• Transports items between kitchen and service areas; assists vendors with unloads.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen area during shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
