Job summary

Flanigan's Enterprises is hiring a Prep Cook to organize kitchen prep and support during service. You will follow recipes, maintain stock and par levels, and help move items between the kitchen and service areas.

The position requires staying on your feet most of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a high-temperature environment. English literacy is essential, and you will assist with dishwashing and cleanup as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy loads.
• Ability to read recipes and food labels; speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and sanitation policies and training.
• Prepares menu items per recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Maintains rotation and par levels to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Assists prep work, stocks stations, and transports items to and from the kitchen.
• Cleans and maintains the kitchen area during shift; breaks down stations at closing.
